Pages I designed for The CVA Website Survey Book, which was a group project in my Typography 2 course involving the collaboration of all of my classmates.
The survey book was inspired by a class visit to Larsen Design and Interactive, a local design firm, where we learned about the user testing and surveying part of their website design process. At the time Larsen was working on the redesign of our college website, so as a class we decided to do a little surveying of our own to help Larsen out.
As a class we brainstormed questions, designed, passed out and collected results of two separate surveys for students and faculty. As a class we decided on a consistent size of the pages in order to provide a structure that we could design within. Then each student designed a few individual pages that showcased survey question results. The section dividers and design of the overall book was brainstormed by a smaller individual group, which I was a part of. The resulting book showcased the individual personalities of a each designer in the course together as a whole.
We used this book to present the collective results of individual survey questions and our comparison reviews of other visual arts colleges websites to Larsen.
