Main Logo & Sub-Logos
Main Logo & Sub-Logos, Stationary System, Website and T-Shirts that I designed as a part of the Muddog Motor-Sports Design System to showcase my branding system abilities.
I based the project on an actual company that my brother-in-law wanted to start up. One of his company’s primary needs was a website that he could use to sell and promote different items such as mini-bikes, real estate and his softball team, so the project ended up really being reversely designed with the website in mind first.
After consulting with him and brainstorming ideas for the name of his company and we came up with the name "Muddog Motor-Sports" inspired by his softball team name: "The Muddogs." Then I came up with a main logo for the company, sub-logos and icons for the different parts of the company and website sections. The main element of the logo, the muddy bulldog, stays the same while other elements of the logo change.
Next, I designed some t-shirts that I thought that he could sell on the website to promote the company and the website. The t-shirt design included the logo of the section of the company somewhat askew, a catchy tagline and the website address.
Then, I designed a stationary system consisting of a letterhead, envelope and business card for the main company. The stationary is tied together through the use of the logo in the upper left hand corner bleeding off of the page and black bars that I incorporated as a secondary element to evoke the road that a mini-bike would ride on.
Finally, I designed and produced the website in Flash, which I never really completed.
